The Ubuntu hub webinars aim to engage those working in early child disability including the LSHTM ‘Ubuntu Hub’ global community of practice. This will be an engaging one hour online webinar exploring the power of inclusive community playschemes in ending exclusion for disabled children.

The webinar will include a presentation from the Disability Africa UK and The Gambia teams. The presentation will share learning about the importance of inclusive play and the impact of such schemes on children and communities. It will also cover practical tips and the steps involved to set up your own community playscheme.

This will be followed by a Q&A.

Attendees will learn about:

  2. How play activities can be utilised to promote inclusion
  3. Practical strategies to support setting up simple inclusive play schemes
